Pick a park, type what happened, hit Enter for the next line. Empty sections are left out of the document. Sections you add here are how the board report gets built - name it whatever the board needs.
To bold, italic or underline part of a line: select the words and use the little B / I / U bar that appears above the line, or Ctrl‑B, Ctrl‑I and Ctrl‑U (Cmd on a Mac). Clear takes it back off. It carries into the Word file exactly as you see it.
Last week shows up under the line you are working on. If something looks like a repeat you get an amber note, and you can wave it off or mark it a standing line so it never asks again.
Type what happened this period under each heading and hit Enter for the next line. A name in the first box comes out bold in front of the line, like Sagemont: Overseeded the soccer field, so leave it empty for a general line. To bold, italic or underline part of what you type, select the words and use the B / I / U bar above the line, or Ctrl‑B, Ctrl‑I and Ctrl‑U (Cmd on a Mac). Headings are numbered in order (I, II, III) and empty sections are left out of the document, so type N/A to keep a heading in. The Weather section can fill itself in from the National Weather Service once the month is over.
Last month shows up under the line you are working on, the same way last week does on the weekly report.
Photos print at the end of the report, after the last numbered section. These print after the plain photo list above and before your sign-off, under the same PHOTOS heading. Use the list above for loose photos and sections down here when you want them grouped or paired. Each heading is a park or a topic like Vandalism. Inside a heading, each sub-heading is one piece of work, and it can hold plain photos or before-and-after pairs.
Headings order themselves: parks first in A-Z order, then anything that is not a park. Parks are the ones on your park list in Report Setup - add a park there and it sorts with the others. A run of photos that would split across two pages is moved to its own page on its own.
Put a photo somewhere else by dragging it. Drag any picture onto another slot and the two trade places, in this section or any other one. Drag one up onto the photo list above to take it back out, and drag a photo from that list down onto a slot to bring it in. Captions travel with the picture.
Click Email report at the top and the finished Word file is sent as an attachment. Nothing to save, attach, or format.
One park per line. This fills the dropdowns. Edit it once and it sticks.
